Wicked! That is a unique port I've never seen one like this. You know what your doing so I have confidence.  Smiley Have you ever made a port like that before, how do you calculate the length?  Shocked I can see the benefit of making it like that it gets the port firing the same direction as the subs.

I have never made a port like this before, but similar.
The length is the mid way of the port length.

will this be installed in the same vehicle ?

which way will you face the opening?

on this picture here, it is firing to the rear of the box, was that just a mock-up?

it almost has a home audio appeal or flrair to it, is home audio where you got your inspiratuion from for this design?

looking good do far, a real eye catcher for sure....

I didn“t find any inspiration directly to this kind of build.

Just had to get a solution for my install and came up with this one and i fell for it Wink
And it is like nothing i seen before so just another reason to try it out.

The box will be installed in the same vehicle (Mercedes A160) and port will be firing backwards to start and then i will try facing it forwards.

The idea is to build up a wall behind the port when firing forward and se how it works out.

Port will be bolted down in the box by lowering t-nuts into the bo so i can choose change direction of the port and easy dismount it for modification Smiley

On monday or tuesday i will make next upgrade since my grinder gave up today Roll Eyes
